We build custom oars. This allows us to offer the greatest selection possible to meet your specific needs, however unique they may be. While many of our more common configurations work for most people, the fact is: if you want it, we will build it.
How to Order
If you know exactly what you want, or are reordering a prior configuration, please contact us or submit your request using the Oar Request form.
If you are interested in ordering sweeps or sculls and need more guidance, we recommend that you learn about each component prior to configuring your oars and submitting an order request. Our online and printable guides both highlight the most common configuration options for your convenience. If you would like to order preconfigured sculls, consider the Bantam Sculls.
Lead times vary depending on the components you choose but are generally 2–3 weeks.
After you submit your order, we will email you a copy of the order so that you can confirm the specifications. Review the order carefully and then confirm your specifications by email or phone. We do not schedule your oars to be built until we have received your confirmation and payment in full. Confirm your specifications promptly to avoid delays with your order.

If there is no sales tax on your transaction and you are not a tax-exempt entity, it is because Concept2 is not required to and does not collect sales or use tax for the state to which the order is being delivered. Depending on the state’s tax laws, you may be required to pay use tax to the state to which the order is being delivered. Contact the state’s Tax Department to determine your use tax liability. ³ Sculling oars generally ship via UPS Freight to Canada. Sweep oars are shipped via common carrier. Your order will arrive on a tractor trailer during business hours. To avoid additional fees, we recommend shipping sweep oars to your place of business or other commercial address (not your residence), preferably where a loading dock is available. A signature is required upon receipt for delivery. Please contact Concept2 for shipping charges. Please see above for information regarding orders shipping to taxable locations within the US. When shipping to Canada, additional taxes and brokerage fees may apply. |
